CHOOSING A VENUE
Financial union
members have a choice from one of five venues:
Australian
Reptile Park (Central Coast),
Jamberoo
Action Park (south of Wollongong),
Luna
Park (Sydney),
Taronga
Zoo (Sydney), or
Taronga
Western Plains Zoo (Dubbo).
Entry to the Union
picnic is strictly for CFMEU financial members and their families.
Each venue has limited capacity, so tickets will be issued on
“availability”.
In order to ensure you obtain your preferred venue you will need
to pay your October 2008 union dues early, and pick up your
picnic tickets from the union office.
This is the ONLY way we can ensure that every member has an
equal opportunity to obtain tickets.
Your partner may
also pick up your tickets, provided they bring your OK card to
the Union Office.
Tickets will NOT be issued by Organisers or Delegates or at the
venues on Picnic Day.
ISSUING TICKETS & $ 2.00 PER TICKET
ADMINISTRATION FEE
The CFMEU will provide a maximum of five tickets per family.
Children 3 years and under do not need a ticket.
Apprentices will be issued with 2 tickets only.
There will be an administration fee of $2.00 per ticket for all
venues.
This fee helps cover the union’s ever increasing administration
costs of organising and running the Picnic.
ADDITIONAL TICKETS
If required, you may purchase 2 additional tickets for your
immediate family when you collect your picnic tickets from the
CFMEU Office.

TICKET COLLECTION
Tickets are available for collection from Wednesday August 20 to
Saturday November 29, 2008
LIDCOMBE OFFICE
Tickets will be available during office hours (including
RDOs) at the CFMEU Head Office, 12 Railway Street, Lidcombe.
Tickets are also available on the following dates from the
Lidcombe office only, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm
Saturday September 27
Saturday October 25
Saturday November 29
WOLLONGONG
Labor Council Office - 1 Lowden Square, Wollongong
Mon to Fri between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm except public holidays.
NEWCASTLE
CFMEU Office - Devonshire Lane
Mon to Fri between 10.00 am to 5.00pm except public holidays.
