The number of Organisers working for the branch is determined by the Divisional Branch Council or the Committee of Management. Currently there are over 45 field Organisers of which the majority are elected by the membership every four years with the balance appointed. Each union organiser has a designated geographical area and duties. If you have a problem you cannot just approach any organiser - it must be the organiser allocated to your site or workplace. Each organiser has an Executive Officer allocated to support and supervise that official.
