What
is Direct Debit?
Direct Debit is a simple way to pay your union dues.
You
can arrange to have your union dues deducted each fortnight through
your bank, building society or credit union (or monthly if paying by
Credit Card).
 |
It saves
writing cheques and postage. |
 |
You will not
receive any more half yearly accounts. |
What does it cost me?
There is no cost! The CFMEU will pay the account charges, saving
you money. All you pay is a rejection fee if you neglect to have
sufficient funds in your account at the time of the debit.
 |
If you are paying from your Bank Account, fortnightly
Direct Debits are deducted from your Bank Account - at
the current period’s union dues rate divided by 13 (now
@ $18.10each fortnight).* |
 |
If you are paying by Credit Card, monthly Direct Debits
are deducted from your Credit Card - at the current
period’s union dues rate divided by 6 (now @ $39.20
each month).* |
|
|
Note: Rates Effective from 1 October 2008 |
If you are currently financial with the Union, your Direct Debit
will not start until 1st April or 1st October - whichever comes
first.
How do I arrange Direct Debit?
Simply complete the Direct
Debit Form, return it to your union
delegate, organiser or the union office—CFMEU, Locked Bag 1,
Lidcombe NSW 1825. The Union, will record your details, and
forward them to your bank or credit union.
Your
bank account is then automatically debited fortnightly or monthly as
you requested, and your CFMEU Membership Account credited.

BPAY on your computer - weekly, fortnightly or monthly, as you
choose.
